Hello Hello Sunnies :)
Bellow is the list of books I've read recently that did not get a full review (mostly for lack of time):
Hunting for a Highlander
(Highland Brides #8)
I am very much in love with Lynsay Sands historical romances. Everything about it was absolute perfection. They are filled with family love, adventure, humour, and of course, sexy times. Dwyn and Geordie had great chemistry. Dwyn feels out place surrounded by girls dying to 'catch' a Buchanan brother for a husband until a chance encounter with a stranger leaves her wanting for more. Geordie does not know why there are so many woman in his family's place, not to start anyway. But he isn't all that upset about it, the one he met by chance on a tree on his first night home is worth it!
The Archer
by
Paulo Coelho- 3 Stars
Paulo Coelho is the author that got me into reading. As a young girl I stumbled upon a book of his called Brida and fell in love. Brida is a young girl in search of magic and love. From that point on I read anything he publishes. They are always great stories with an amazing philosophical undertone.
The Archer was good but it is probably not going to go on my list of favorites. Funnily enough the book he is moslty known for is also not one of my favorites - The Alchemist -. It was good, very philosophical. Its the story of an archer and archery but also of finding wisdom. But my favorite works by him tell a story and just so happen to be philosophical. The Archer was the other way around, at times I even struggled to follow what he was trying to teach.
A great 3 star book. Short and to the point.
But if I could recommend you a title by him read this one: By the River Piedra I sat Down and Wept.
Desperate Measures
(Wicked Villains #1)
by Katee Robert- 3 starsKatee is one of my favorite romance erotica writers and her take on this retelling was intriguing, different, and needless to say, HOT.The premise is simple: What if the villain got the girl? In this case, Jafar gets Jasmine. It is set in a modern world, instead of a royal family a mafia king gets taken over and his daughter, Jasmine, as a prize. This is definitely erotica, but there enough story here to keep you entertained too!

The Happy Ever After Playlist
(The Friend Zone #2)
by
Abby Jimenez - 2.5 Stars
The book focuses on Sloan. Two years after losing her fiance in a tragic accident she is still not quite herself. On the anniversary of her fiance’s death, a dog (Tucker) literally jumps inside Sloan’s car. She reaches out to the owner just to find out he is out of the country and the person he had taking care of his dog just up and left. Sloan agrees to take care of Tucker until Jason is back. They talk every day and get to know each other pretty well in the process. All in all, not a bad book. It had its curveball, its climax, and its ending at around 65%. It was perfect. A 5 star! But it had 35% to go still... in other worlds: uncesseccary twists and turns. I carried on reading for a while and just got annoyed. What his label did was not legal and just made the whole story stupid and no longer credible. And it got worse from there.
So 2.5 it is. Could have been perfect. I'm sadden.
